Parent Information and Responsibilities

 

*Email is our primary means of communication.  Please check your email daily for communication from our instructors and the administration.

*Parents MUST leave a phone number that can be answered at any time throughout each school day.  If there is an emergency, we need to be able to call and have you answer, or at least call back within a few minutes.

*We must have a current email address and phone number at all times.  If either of these items change, please inform us immediately.

*Students should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before school begins and parents should arrive promptly at 3:15 to pick up their students.

Students will only be released to parents unless written permission is given by the parents for someone else to pick up their child.  We will check photo identification of that individual when they arrive.

Elementary instructors will wait outside starting at 11:50 for students.  They will walk them to their classrooms.  Parents are always welcome to walk their child in as well.

 

Elementary instructors will bring children outside at 3:00 to meet their parents.  Parents are always welcome to come inside the building to get their child.

           

Elementary students should bring a healthy snack with them each school day.  Please do not send candy, cookies, etc.  We request pretzels, yogurt, carrot sticks, apples, granola bars, etc.  Also, please send a filled water bottle with your child, clearly labeled each school day. Snack time won’t last long, so snacks sent should be easily eaten quickly. . (Birthdays are an exception, and your classroom teacher will go over how birthdays will be celebrated.)

 

 

Elementary students should bring a backpack each day.  Your student’s classroom teacher will explain what other supplies or materials your child will need.
